Brick

The crunch of a brick dropped on concrete, the crash of one thrown through a window, and the rumble of a wall coming down. Describe the brick and Morphic generates it clean, from a trowel tap to a full collapse.

  • Ask for a brick through a window or a wall coming down in rubble, and that is the brick you get
  • Impacts made for the shop window or crumbling wall in your shot, on the surface you name
  • Comes as clean, isolated audio you download and drop on the impact frame in your edit

Brick sounds for games, animation, and video edits

Brick dropped on concrete

A dense crunching thud with a little grit, the everyday brick impact for a fall, a drop or a comedy bonk.

Brick through a window

A thrown brick smashing a pane, then glass raining down, for vandalism, riots and break-in scenes.

Brick wall collapsing

Bricks tumbling one over another into a heavy rubble pile, for demolition, earthquakes and destruction in games.

Bricks clinking together

Bright hard clinks as bricks are stacked one on another, for building sites, yards and craft videos.

Brick dragged on concrete

A gritty scrape as a brick is pushed across rough ground, for slow tension or a character moving rubble.

Trowel tapping a brick

The tap of a trowel handle seating a brick in mortar, for bricklaying shots and patient building scenes.

Ways to use a brick sound effect

Make the throw land with a crash

A brick through glass on the exact frame it hits turns a quiet street into a scene of trouble, in a short film, a game or an animated story.

Fill a quiet build without a soundtrack

Trowel scrapes and slow taps carry a long bricklaying sequence with no voiceover, in a craft video, a timelapse or a build documentary.

Set a demolition or disaster scene

A wall coming down in rubble tells the audience the ground has shifted, in a documentary, an action game, an animation or an audio drama.

Show damage that happens out of shot

A single brick hitting concrete behind a door says something just fell, so your film, game or podcast never has to show what broke.

Questions fréquentes

What is a brick sound effect?
It is a recording of a fired clay brick hitting, breaking or moving against something: dropping onto concrete, smashing through glass, stacking against other bricks or tumbling from a wall. Bricks sound dense and gritty, which is why they read as weight and damage on screen.
Where can I get brick sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the brick you want takes less time than digging through a stock library, and you get the exact impact your scene needs. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom brick sound effect?
Describe the brick, what it hits and how, then generate it. A prompt like "a brick thrown through a glass window pane, a sharp crash of breaking glass" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between a brick drop, a brick smash and a wall collapse?
A drop is one brick landing whole with a dull thud; a smash is a brick breaking something, usually glass, where the target makes most of the sound; and a collapse is many bricks falling over each other into rubble. Pick the one that matches what breaks on screen, the brick, the window or the wall.
Can I use these brick sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my brick sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the surface does not match the picture. A brick landing on soft earth makes a muffled thump, while the same brick on concrete cracks and chips, so a concrete clip under a garden shot sounds wrong. Name the surface you see in the prompt and the impact sits in the scene.
