How do I draw a castle that looks solid?
Name the viewing angle and the stone. A castle seen from slightly below with hatched blocks and a consistent light direction reads as heavy masonry, while a flat front view reads as a symbol.
How do I draw a simple castle for a child?
Ask for bold even outlines, three or four towers with cone roofs, and large open shapes with no shading. That version prints cleanly and is easy to colour in.
Can I get the perspective right on a castle drawing?
