Tested music video prompts you can copy and run on Morphic. Each one explains what the parts do, so you can adapt rather than guess.

One word in neon

A vertical locked off on a dark brick wall where a neon sign spelling the single short word STAY flickers on letter by letter, holds steadily lit, then buzzes and dims, so a dark wall at the start carries one glowing word by the end. Only that one word appears and no other text is anywhere in frame. Night, wet brick, magenta neon spill on the ground. 50mm, shallow depth of field, film grain. About 6 seconds, no loop. <an electrical buzz and hum> (a slow downtempo beat).

Edit prompt

Smoke spells it once

A vertical locked off on a black ground where drifting white smoke gathers and briefly resolves into the single short word GONE, holds for a moment, then loses its shape and disperses upward, so formless smoke at the start is one readable word and then formless again by the end. No other lettering appears at any point. Deep black, hard side light catching the smoke. 85mm, shallow depth of field. About 6 seconds, no loop. <a low airy hiss> (a sustained ambient chord).

Edit prompt

Mirror room, many of her

A vertical medium of a dancer inside a mirrored room where her reflections repeat away on both sides, all of them performing the same arm movement in exact step with her, so one visible dancer at the start is a corridor of identical synchronised figures by the end. No reflection moves independently. Hard coloured light, deep magenta and cyan bouncing between the mirrors. 35mm, shallow depth of field, film grain. About 7 seconds, no loop. <a room with a hard slap reverb> (a tight electronic beat).

Edit prompt

Eight bodies, one move

A vertical wide of eight dancers in two rows performing the same sequence in unison on a wet plaza, the front-centre dancer initiating each move a fraction ahead so the rest appear to follow her, so a still formation at the start has completed one full phrase together by the end. Every dancer keeps their own spacing and none drifts. Overcast evening, wet stone reflecting a single cold light. 35mm, film grain. About 8 seconds, no loop. <eight sets of feet landing together> (a hard electronic beat).

Edit prompt

The picture tears on the beat

A vertical shot of a figure performing to camera where the image tears and displaces horizontally on each of four beats, blocks of the frame sliding sideways and snapping back into place between hits, so a clean image at the start has broken and reassembled four times by the end. The performance underneath continues uninterrupted. Saturated colour with heavy chromatic fringing on the tears. 50mm, digital artefacting. About 6 seconds, no loop. <four bursts of digital noise> (a glitchy electronic beat).

Edit prompt

Straight down the lens, one take

A slow push in on a singer performing directly to camera in one unbroken take, her mouth shaping a long held vowel that carries the whole shot, her head tilting back slightly as the note opens out, so a closed relaxed face at the start is fully open and sustaining by the end. Her hands stay on the mic stand. A bare studio with one deep magenta wash from behind and a soft key from the front. 50mm, shallow depth of field, film grain. About 8 seconds, no loop. {one long sung vowel} (a slow synth pad under it).

Edit prompt

Ink in time with the beat

A locked off overhead macro on clear water where drops of deep blue ink fall in and bloom outward in four evenly spaced pulses, each bloom expanding and slowing before the next arrives, so clear water at the start is a layered blue cloud by the end with four distinct pulses visible in it. Nothing else enters frame. A backlit white ground, saturated blue against clean white. 100mm macro, very shallow depth of field. About 6 seconds, no loop. <four soft impacts> (a four-on-the-floor kick locked to them).

Edit prompt

Three rooms, one performance

Three shots joined on a continuing vocal. A singer performs the same line straight to camera, and the location cuts twice beneath her, from a tiled stairwell to a rooftop at dusk to the back of a moving van, her framing, eyeline and lip movement continuous across both cuts, so one performance at the start has crossed three locations by the end without breaking. Cool interior, then warm dusk, then hard bounced daylight. 50mm, shallow depth of field, film grain. About 10 seconds, no loop. {one continuous sung line across all three} (a building arrangement).

Edit prompt

Chrome letter turning

A vertical locked off on a single chrome letter A standing on a dark reflective floor and rotating slowly on its vertical axis, catching a moving highlight along its bevelled edge as it turns, so a front-on letter at the start has turned to show its side by the end. No other letters or words appear. Deep black ground, one hard moving key light, cold specular chrome. 85mm, shallow depth of field. About 6 seconds, no loop. <a low metallic resonance> (a slow synth arpeggio).

Edit prompt

Rain on the whole band

A medium wide on a band playing outdoors in heavy rain, water running off the drum heads and jumping on each strike, the guitarist's hair flat against his face, everyone continuing to play through it, so a soaked stationary group at the start has played a full phrase in the downpour by the end. Each player keeps their own instrument throughout. Night, one hard backlight turning the rain white, everything else deep blue. 35mm, handheld, film grain. About 8 seconds, no loop. <rain on drum skins and a full band> (a driving chorus).

Edit prompt

Hand-drawn on every frame

A vertical hand-drawn animation of a figure dancing where the ink outlines wobble and shift slightly on every frame, the fill colours drifting a little outside the lines, so a standing figure at the start has completed a full turn by the end and never sits perfectly still. Rendered on twos with visible paper texture behind. Flat washes of dusty pink and deep teal, no photographic detail. About 6 seconds, no loop. <a light percussive shuffle> (an upbeat lo-fi loop).

Edit prompt

Liquid chrome finds the beat

A vertical locked off on a pool of liquid chrome that spikes upward into sharp peaks on each of four low hits and settles back to a mirror between them, reflecting a warped version of the light above, so a flat mirrored surface at the start has spiked and settled four times by the end. Nothing else enters frame. Black ground, one hard moving highlight across the metal. 85mm, shallow depth of field. About 6 seconds, no loop. <four deep sub hits> (a heavy bass line around them).

Edit prompt

Chorus changes the room

Two shots joined on a beat. First half, a vertical medium of a singer performing in a plain bedroom, framed centre. On the downbeat the cut lands and the second half is the same singer in exactly the same framing and pose but now on a lit stage with a crowd behind, so an intimate room at the start is a full venue by the end and only the surroundings change. Her performance never breaks. Soft domestic light, then hard stage light and haze. 50mm, shallow depth of field, film grain. About 8 seconds, no loop. {a continuing sung line across the cut} (a beat dropping on the change).

Edit prompt

Drummer, and the room answers

A locked off medium on a drummer in a dark hall where each of four snare hits triggers a hard flash of light across the walls behind him, the room going dark again between them, so an unlit space at the start has been lit four times in rhythm by the end. His left hand works the snare and his right rides the cymbal throughout. A bare hall, one hard strobe source behind, deep blue between flashes. 35mm, film grain. About 8 seconds, no loop. <four snare hits with hall reverb> (a driving rhythm around them).

Edit prompt

The crowd carries him

A medium wide in a packed venue as a figure is lifted off the floor by the crowd and carried backward over their heads, dozens of hands taking his weight and passing him along, so a body at floor level at the start is above the crowd and moving by the end. His arms stay out wide for balance. Hard stage backlight through haze, silhouettes and warm rim light. 35mm, handheld, film grain. About 8 seconds, no loop. <a roaring crowd> (a loud chorus at full volume).

Edit prompt

Verse quiet, chorus wide

Two shots joined on a section change. First half, a tight vertical close on a singer's face in near darkness, barely moving, performing quietly. On the downbeat the cut lands and the second half is a wide of the same singer small in a huge lit space, arms out, so an intimate close at the start is an expansive wide by the end and the change lands exactly on the beat. Deep shadow and one soft light, then full bright wash. 85mm then 24mm, film grain. About 8 seconds, no loop. {a quiet line becoming a loud one} (the arrangement opening on the cut).

Edit prompt

Kaleidoscope on the downbeat

A locked off symmetrical kaleidoscope pattern of coloured glass shapes that reconfigures sharply on each of four beats, holding still between them rather than turning continuously, so one arrangement at the start has snapped through four distinct configurations by the end. The centre point never moves. Saturated jewel colours against black, hard backlight through the glass. 50mm, flat on. About 6 seconds, no loop. <four sharp transients> (a driving electronic loop).

Edit prompt

Orbit the solo

A half orbit travelling clockwise around a guitarist mid-solo at a constant distance, holding him at the same size in frame while the stage and the lights swing past behind him, so a player against one background at the start is the same player against a completely different one by the end. His hands stay on the instrument throughout. Hard side light and haze, deep blue with an amber rim. 35mm, shallow depth of field, film grain. About 8 seconds, no loop. <a guitar solo with room reverb> (a full band under it).

Edit prompt

Running the night market

A tracking shot running backward ahead of two people sprinting through a crowded night market, stalls and hanging lights streaking past on both sides, vendors turning as they pass, the pair holding the centre of frame the whole way, so a packed lane at the start is a different part of the market by the end with the two still centred. They never look back. Warm mixed practical light, steam and neon, saturated reds and golds. 35mm, handheld, film grain. About 10 seconds, no loop. <market noise, running footsteps, shouts> (an uptempo track over it).

Edit prompt

Walking toward the camera, all of it

A wide tracking shot retreating at walking pace ahead of four people walking abreast down the centre of an empty road at dusk, holding them at a constant size in frame while the landscape slides past behind, so a group at the start is the same group at the same scale by the end with the world having moved. None of them looks at the camera. Low sun behind them, long shadows reaching toward the lens, warm dust. Anamorphic, 35mm grain, lens flare. About 10 seconds, no loop. <footsteps on tarmac, wind> (a slow building anthem).

よくある質問

How do I use these music video prompts?
Pick any prompt, copy it, and paste it into Morphic. Each one names the look and the rhythm before the subject, so the model reads how the shot should move before it reads what is in it. Change the performer or the location and the timing still holds.
Do these generate the music as well?
No, and it is worth being clear about it. Video models produce a short audio bed, not a composed track. The prompts here name a rhythm cue so the motion has something to lock to, which gives you a clip that cuts cleanly against your own music. Lay your track over the top in an edit.
Can I make a lyric video with these?
Partly. Video models are unreliable at rendering legible words, so the lyric prompts here each use a single short word and put it somewhere forgiving: neon, projection, smoke, condensation traced by a finger, or one chrome letter. Use them to establish the look, then add the full lyrics as real type in an edit.
Why do some prompts describe two shots and others one?
Because a cut inside a clip needs a model that supports more than one shot from a single prompt. The cards that change location on the beat are written for models that can do that. The single-take cards work anywhere, which is why the stylised and visualiser looks are all one continuous shot.
Can I use the videos commercially?
The prompts here describe original scenes and fictional performers, so what you generate is yours to use. Avoid prompting for real artists, logos, trademarks, or a living person's likeness, and keep your final use in line with Morphic's terms.
