Why does my beat drop sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the impact is a few frames off the cut. The ear locks onto the hit, so line the loudest part of the boom up with the first frame of the new shot. If it still feels weak, ask for a short silence before the impact, because the gap is what makes the hit feel big.
