How do I draw a toad so it does not look like a frog?
Change the build, not just the skin. A toad is squatter and wider with short back legs it walks on rather than long jumping legs, a blunter snout, a heavier brow and dry bumpy skin. Say "squat, short-legged, dry warty skin" in the prompt.
How do I draw warty skin without it looking like a rash?
Vary the size and spacing. Ask for larger warts along the back and shoulders thinning to fine bumps on the sides, each one given a light top and a small shadow. Evenly sized dots across the whole body read as texture applied, not skin.
What is the easiest way to draw a toad?
