FAQs

How do I draw a unicorn horn that looks right?
Describe it as a single tapering horn with a spiral ridge, set forward on the forehead rather than on top of the skull. Adding ridged highlights along the spiral gives it weight in a shaded drawing.
Can I make a cute unicorn rather than a realistic one?
Yes. Ask for rounder shapes, a shorter muzzle, a bold outline, flat pastel fills and closed happy eyes. Fewer texture details push the drawing toward a sticker or card look.
How do I get a unicorn outline I can colour in?
Ask for an even thick black outline, no shading, open shapes and a white background. Download the image in HD and print it at the size you need.
What makes a unicorn read as a horse rather than a pony?
Proportion. A longer neck, a deeper chest and longer legs read as a horse, while a short thick neck and stocky legs read as a pony. Name the build you want in the prompt.
Can I design a whole set of unicorns that match?
Use the Character Lineup workflow to lock the design, then change the pose, colour or scene while the horn, mane and proportion stay the same across the set.
Is the unicorn I generate original artwork?
Yes. Morphic draws from your description, so the result is an original creature design based on the folklore archetype rather than any existing character from a film, game or book.
