Draw the frame as a box first, then divide the opening for the glazing bars. Once the frame is turned, the panes nearer the vanishing point get narrower, and the bars have to follow the same lines as the frame, not stay vertical.
What should I put in the glass?
Pick one job for the glass and stick to it. Either it reflects, in which case draw a diagonal band of light and nothing else, or it shows a view, in which case keep that view lighter and softer than everything around the frame.
