FAQs
What is a crowd screaming sound effect?
A crowd screaming sound effect is many people shrieking at once, from thrilled fans and roller coaster riders to a startled audience or a panicked crowd. The pitch and shape of the screams tell the viewer whether the moment is joy, thrill or fear.
Where can I get crowd screaming sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the crowd and the reason for the screams is quicker than searching clip libraries, and the take fits your shot. Every clip on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and change it.
How do I make a custom crowd screaming sound effect?
Say who screams, how many and what sets them off, for example riders screaming together on a steep drop. Add that it is wordless, then generate it and adjust words like sudden, rising or fading until it fits the cut.
What is the difference between fan screams, thrill screams and panic screams?
Fan screams are high and sustained, pure excitement aimed at someone on stage. Thrill screams spike on a drop or a scare and then fall away into laughter or gasps. Panic screams are ragged and spread out, usually mixed with running feet.
Can I use these crowd screaming sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my crowd screaming not sit right in the edit?
Usually the screams peak in the wrong place. A jump scare needs the burst on the exact frame of the shock, while fan screams can swell before a reveal. Trim the start, and keep distant panic lower and darker than screams meant to feel close.
