Make the reveal land when the box opens
A clean flap scrape on the frame the lid comes up gives an unboxing or product video its moment, and works in animated ads and game loot reveals too.

FAQs
What is a packaging sound effect?
It is the sound of opening, sealing or handling the materials things are shipped in: cardboard flaps, packing tape, bubble wrap, foam peanuts and plastic film. These sounds are the backbone of unboxing and product videos, where the packaging is often heard more clearly than the product.
Where can I get packaging sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the sound you want takes less time than digging through a stock library, and the exact tape rip or box opening your video needs is generated for you. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom packaging sound effect?
Describe the material, the action and the pace, then generate it. A prompt like "packing tape pulled off a dispenser across a cardboard box, a long sticky screech ending in a sharp snap" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between a cardboard, tape and bubble wrap sound?
Cardboard is a dry scrape and thump as flaps fold and the box moves. Tape is a long sticky screech with a snap at the end, and bubble wrap is a run of sharp crisp pops. An unboxing usually needs all three in sequence, so it helps to generate each one on its own and place them on the right frames.
Can I use these packaging sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my packaging sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the sound is longer or busier than the hand movement on screen. Trim it so each scrape or rip starts on the frame the hand moves and stops when it does. If the box on screen is small and the sound is big and hollow, generate a smaller box or thinner material so the two match.
