FAQs
What is a plant sound effect?
It is handled-foliage audio: leaves rustling, a stem snapping, water going onto soil or a pot being set down. These are the small sounds that make a plant on screen feel physical.
Where can I get plant sounds for a video?
Describe the action and the part of the plant, then generate it instead of searching a nature library for the right rustle. Each sound here was built from the prompt beside it, so you can edit one to fit.
How do I make a custom plant sound effect?
Name the plant part, what touches it and the texture, for example "a hand brushing through fern fronds, a soft dry whispering rustle", and generate. Swap the plant or the action to get a variation.
What is the difference between a rustle and a snap?
A rustle is a continuous, soft, dry brush of many leaves, where a snap is one short fibrous crack from a single stem. Asking for "a soft dry whisper" or "one wet crack" keeps them apart.
Can I use these plant sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. The sound is generated for you, so it will not match a clip in a stock nature pack.
Why does my rustle sound like wind in a forest?
Without a handler the model reaches for a broad outdoor wash. Say "a hand brushing" or "a sleeve passing through", keep it close and dry, and the sound stays a single handled plant.
