Title

A deep boom under a film title, a comic pop for a cartoon card and a horror scrape that slams into a hit. Describe the title reveal your video needs and Morphic generates it clean.

  • A boom, a comic pop, a horror hit or an orchestral swell, as asked
  • Made for the frame your series name fades up over the opening shot
  • Clean, isolated title hits to drop under a card, a chapter break or a credit

A grinding rise that slams into a dark hit, for a horror title, a creepy chapter card or a thriller cold open.

Elegant swell chimes

Strings rising into bright chimes, for a wedding film title, a fantasy opener or an elegant product reveal.

Epic drum crash

One huge drum and cymbal impact, for a trailer title, a sports opener or the name of a game splashing on screen.

Ways to use a title sound effect

Land the title the moment it hits the screen

A deep boom on the exact frame the title appears gives the opening its weight, in a film, a game trailer, an animation or a podcast video.

Bridge a quiet title card with no music

Strings rising into chimes carry a slow title card with no score under it, in a wedding film, a fantasy short or a podcast episode intro.

Tell viewers what kind of story this is

A horror scrape under the opening card says scary before a frame of the story plays, in short films, horror games and audio dramas.

Hint at a hidden world behind the title

A digital stutter locking into place suggests a system waking up behind the card, in a sci-fi video, a game menu or an animated series.

FAQs

What is a title sound effect?
It is the short sound that plays as a title card appears: a boom, a pop, a swell or a hit. It tells viewers the story or chapter is starting and sets the genre straight away, so a horror title and a cartoon title should never share one.
Where can I get title sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the reveal and genre you want takes less time than digging through a stock library, and the exact sound your scene needs is generated for you. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom title sound effect?
Describe the genre, how the sound builds and how long it rings, then generate it. A prompt like "a metallic scrape rising in pitch into one heavy dark hit, ending in a ringing low boom" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the card.
What is the difference between a title sound, an intro sound and a stinger?
A title sound marks one card landing, the show name or a chapter heading. An intro sound runs under a whole opening sequence, and a stinger is a short hit that punctuates a moment anywhere in the story, often a shock or a joke.
Can I use these title sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my title sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the hit is not on the frame the title appears, or the tail runs into the first line of dialogue. Line the peak up with the first frame of the card and trim the tail so it fades out before the scene starts.
