Punctuate a cut to outside
Bring a wind-in-trees bed up on the cut and the audience is outdoors before the shot has told them. It reads the same in a game level as on film.

Green noise
The mid-band colour, where moving water and wind in trees sit. Softer than white, brighter than brown, and the one people call natural. Describe it and Morphic builds the bed.
- Ask for the exact character you want, a plain mid-band bed or one that leans toward water or wind
- A bed written for your scene, not a stock noise file already sitting under a thousand other videos
- Download clean audio and drop it straight into your edit
Green noise beds for film, games, and focus sessions
Pure green noise
A smooth bed with its energy in the middle of the range, no bright top and no deep rumble. The reference version, and where to start before colouring it.
Soft green noise
The same mid-band bed pulled back further, quiet enough to sit under a voice without competing with it. Use it when plain green still feels present in the room.
Deep green noise
Centred on the lower middle instead, which gives it weight without the dark roar of brown. The version that holds up on small speakers.
Stream-like green noise
The same mid-band wash pushed toward moving water, with no individual splashes to break it up. Reach for it when a plain bed feels too synthetic.
Wind-in-trees green noise
Leaves moving in a steady breeze, with no gusts and no creaking to pull focus. The most natural of the set and the easiest to leave running.
Bright green noise
Weighted to the upper middle, closer to white without crossing into hiss. Use it when the bed needs to cut through a busy mix instead of sitting under it.

Ways to use green noise
Fill a quiet scene without music
A soft mid-band bed gives the gaps between lines a floor, so a slow scene holds without a music cue arriving to fill the space.
编辑提示词
Set a calm, unhurried mood
The mid band is where moving water and leaves live, so a green bed reads as settled rather than tense. Useful under a guided meditation or a slow montage.
编辑提示词
Put a stream beyond the frame
A water-leaning bed places running water somewhere off screen without a single splash to pin it down, so the location grows without a new shot.

常见问题
What is green noise?
Noise with its energy concentrated in the middle of the frequency range, around where moving water and wind in trees sit. That is why it is described as the sound of nature, and why it feels softer than white without the weight of brown.
What is the difference between green noise and white noise?
White holds every frequency at equal strength, so it reads as bright hiss. Green concentrates on the middle and rolls off both the sibilant top and the deep bottom, which is what makes it sound rounder and more natural.
Is green noise the same as a nature recording?
No. A nature recording carries individual events, a bird, a splash, a gust. Green noise is a continuous bed with none of those, which is why it stays in the background instead of pulling attention each time something happens.
How long can a generated green noise clip be?
The model returns a continuous bed rather than a fixed length, and the long takes here run to a couple of minutes. For a longer session, place the clip on your timeline and extend it there.
Why does my green noise sound like hiss instead of nature?
The prompt named the colour but not the character. Add a source to lean on, water moving over stones or leaves in a steady breeze, and rule out the events that break a bed up: no individual splashes, no gusts, no creaking.
Can I use generated green noise in a commercial project?
Yes. Audio generated on a paid Morphic plan is cleared for commercial use, including video, games, and apps. Download it and place it on your timeline.
