Punctuate the moment a scene turns
A distant call on the cut changes what a quiet shot means, and it works the same in a game level as on film.

Help me sound effects
The call from far off, the whisper close to the mic, the broken version, the child, and the one cut off mid-word. Describe the distance and Morphic builds the plea.
- Set the distance, which decides whether the audience feels able to do something about it
- A performance voiced for your scene rather than a stock cry heard in other productions
- Download clean audio and drop it straight into your edit
Pleas for film, games, and animation
Distant call
Thin and carrying with the low body gone. Distance removes weight first, so that absence is what places the voice far away.
Close whisper
Almost no voice, breathy and tight with a shake. Close enough to be in the room, which makes it worse than a shout.
Broken and crying
The voice breaking mid-word with an uneven breath under it. The break is what stops it sounding performed.
Child calling
A small high voice at a distance. Use it sparingly, because it does more to an audience than any other card here.
Cut off
Stopping partway through the second word with nothing after it. The silence is the event, so leave it long in the cut.
Repeated and fading
The same two words three times, quieter and further each time. Reads as somebody being carried away from you.

Ways to use a help me sound effect
Fill a search without music
A repeated fading call carries five seconds of somebody looking, and the fading does the work a score would.
编辑提示词
Tell the audience how close the danger is
A thin distant call reads as a problem to solve. A whisper close to the mic reads as a problem already in the room.
编辑提示词
Imply what you never show
A plea cut off mid-word tells the audience exactly what happened without the scene having to depict any of it.

常见问题
How do I make a call sound far away?
Thin it rather than quieten it. Distance strips the low body out of a voice first, so a thin carrying call reads as across a field, where a quiet full voice just reads as someone nearby speaking softly.
What is the difference between this and a scream?
Words. A scream is wordless and reads as pure reaction; an audible plea reads as a person who still thinks they can be saved. That difference is why they are separate pages.
Which version is the most unsettling?
The cut-off, usually. A plea that stops partway through the second word tells the audience what happened without showing any of it, and the silence afterwards does the rest.
Why does my broken delivery sound performed?
It is too even. Ask for the voice to break mid-word with an uneven breath underneath, since real distress is irregular and any steady tremor reads as acting.
Can I get a female, older, or child voice?
Yes. Change the description at the front of the prompt and keep the distance and breath notes, which are what carry the scene.
Can I use these in a game or a monetised video?
Yes. Audio generated on a paid Morphic plan is cleared for commercial use, including games, film, and monetised video.
