Reference to Video

Reference to Video on Morphic generates a clip from images, videos and audio you attach as references, guided by your prompt.

Here's a quick tutorial on how to use Reference to Video on Morphic:

Generate a video from references

  1. On the Canvas, click the mode picker, the first button at the bottom left of the prompt bar. It shows the current mode, such as 'Image'
  2. Hover over 'Video', then click 'Reference to Video'. A 'References' box opens above the prompt bar
  3. Click the box and pick where the reference comes from:
    • 'Select on Canvas': click an image or video on the Canvas
    • 'Select from Assets': click one in the 'Assets' panel that opens on the left
    • 'Upload asset': choose a file from your computer. You can also drop files onto the box
  4. To add more, click the '+' tile. The header shows how many the model takes, such as '1/9 images · 0/3 videos · 0/3 audios'
  5. Click the model picker, next to the mode picker, and pick a video model. The limits in the header change with the model
  6. Write the prompt. Type @ and pick a reference to name it in the prompt; it appears as a chip with the file's name
  7. To change the resolution, format or length, click the settings button, such as 'FHD · 16:9 · 5s', and set 'Resolution', 'Format' and 'Duration'
  8. Click the blue button. It shows the credits the clip will use

A 'Creating...' card appears on the Canvas, and the video plays there when it is ready. For every control in the prompt bar, see Prompt bar.

Tips

  • Say what each reference is for: "the two women in @Women on Jetty walk toward each other"
  • To remove a reference, click the 'x' on its thumbnail

That's how you use Reference to Video on Morphic. Attach what the clip should look like, then describe what should happen.
