Land a double take with a twang
One flicked doorstop on the frame a character freezes turns a reaction into a joke, in a sketch video, a cartoon or a party game.

Spring
The wobbling twang of a flicked doorstop, a coil snapping back, a spring launching from a box and sofa springs creaking. Describe the spring your edit needs and Morphic generates it clean.
- A doorstop twang, a coil snapping back or a spring shooting out of a box
- A sproing timed to your cartoon gag and the jack-in-the-box reveal
- Comes back as clean, isolated audio you download and drop on the exact frame the spring lets go
Spring sounds for games, animation, and video edits
Doorstop twang
A flicked doorstop spring buzzing back and forth, the go-to comic beat for a double take or a dumb idea landing.
Stretch and snap
A coil pulled out with a thin creak, then let go to snap home and ring, for tension that pays off in a joke.
Spring launch
A squeezed spring released all at once, the sproing of something shooting up from a box, a hatch or a trick prop.
Coil toy on stairs
A metal coil toy walking down step by step with a jangle each time, for a playroom, a kids show or a prank.
Trap snapping shut
A spring-loaded trap clacking closed with a short ring, a sharp cue for a cartoon chase or a thief getting caught.
Creaky sofa springs
Old springs squeaking and pinging as someone shifts their weight, a steady comic bed for a fidget or a nap.

Ways to use a spring sound effect
Keep a fidgety scene funny with no score
Sofa springs creaking under a restless sitter fill a long awkward pause, so a sitcom scene, a podcast skit or an animation keeps its rhythm.

A coil toy jangling down the stairs says playroom and childhood at once, in a family film, a cozy game or a kids animation.

Let a trap go off just out of shot
A trap snapping behind a cupboard tells the audience someone got caught, without ever showing it, in a cartoon chase, a game or a skit.

Questions fréquentes
What is a spring sound effect?
It is the sound of a metal coil spring being flicked, stretched, squeezed or released, a bright twang that wobbles and rings as it settles. Comedy uses it for reactions and gags, while a tighter, shorter spring sound works for traps, toys and mechanisms that need to feel physical.
Where can I get spring sounds for a video?
Generate them from a prompt. Describing the spring and the moment you need takes less time than digging through a stock library, and you get the exact take your scene needs. Every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one and adjust it.
How do I make a custom spring sound effect?
Describe the spring and what happens to it, then generate it. A prompt like "a metal coil spring stretched slowly with a thin creak, then released to snap back" gives Morphic enough to work with, and you can adjust the wording until it fits the shot.
What is the difference between a spring twang, a sproing and a creak?
A twang is a spring flicked sideways, so it buzzes back and forth like a doorstop. A sproing is a spring released along its length, a whirring rise as it shoots out. A creak is a spring under slow changing weight, squeaks and small pings more than one clear ring, the sound of old furniture.
Can I use these spring sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my spring sound not sit right in the edit?
Usually the ring is the wrong length for the gag. A long wobbling twang under a quick cut runs into the next shot, and a short clack under a slow reaction leaves the joke hanging. Put the attack on the frame the spring lets go and trim the ring to end with the beat.
