What does royalty-free actually mean here?
You pay for the generation, not for each time the sound is used. Audio generated on a paid Morphic plan is cleared for commercial use with no per-use fee, no attribution line, and nobody else holding a claim on the recording.
Can I use these sounds in a client project or an ad?
Yes. Commercial use covers client work, advertising, broadcast, games, and apps. Because the audio is generated for you rather than licensed from a catalogue, there is no library term to read and no per-project renewal.
Do I need to credit Morphic?
No. There is no attribution requirement on audio generated on a paid plan, which is the part most stock libraries get wrong for anyone shipping a broadcast package or a game.
How is this different from downloading from a stock library?
A stock clip is a fixed recording that is also in everyone else project. Here you describe the sound you need, so the length, the weight, and the character match the cut, and the result is not already under a thousand other videos.
Why does my sound come back almost silent?
It was asked for too short. Durations under about a second and a half tend to return empty, so ask for 1.5 seconds and trim it in your editor. Adding "crisp and clearly audible" to the prompt helps as well.
