How do I draw an ant correctly?
Three body segments, pinched narrow where they join: head, thorax and a rounded abdomen. All six legs attach to the middle segment, never to the abdomen. Getting the legs onto the thorax is the single correction that fixes most ant drawings.
How do I draw ant legs and antennae?
Each leg bends twice, out from the body then down to the ground, and the feet sit wider than the body so the ant looks stable. The antennae are elbowed, with a long first segment and a shorter angled section after it.
How do I draw a simple ant for a school project?
