How do I draw a bubble so it looks transparent?
Never close the outline. Draw the film as a broken rim that is darkest where it curves away from you, then place one hard small highlight and one soft reflection inside. Whatever sits behind should stay visible through the middle.
How do I draw the rainbow colours on a bubble?
Keep the bands thin, curved with the sphere and unevenly spaced, and let them fade out entirely across the lit side. Three colours is plenty. An even rainbow across the whole bubble reads as a ball, not a film.
How do I draw bubble letters?
Write the word in single strokes first, then draw a rounded outline around each stroke that swells in the middle and pinches at the joins. Let neighbouring letters touch, then erase the hidden lines where they overlap.
How do I draw foam rather than separate bubbles?
Bubbles packed together stop being round. Ask for flat-sided cells where they press against each other, with only the bubbles on the outer surface kept spherical, and vary the cell sizes so it does not read as a mesh.
Can I get a bubble drawing with a transparent background?
