Ideogram Vector is Ideogram's model for vector graphics, released in October 2026. Where most image models return pixels, it returns SVG files: logos, icons, badges and flat illustrations built from shapes, so they stay sharp at any size and can be edited later.

What Ideogram Vector does differently

A raster logo has to be redrawn by hand before it can go on a sign, a mug or a website at every size. Ideogram Vector skips that step by drawing in vectors from the start. It works three ways on Morphic: from a prompt, by redrawing an image you supply as a vector, and through Ideogram Vectorize, which traces an image into SVG without changing it.

Ideogram Vector on Morphic

Quality comes in three levels, and the canvas takes 13 shapes from 3:1 to 1:3. What is Ideogram Vector?
Ideogram Vector is Ideogram's model for vector graphics, released in October 2026. Instead of a grid of pixels it returns an SVG file, made of shapes that scale to any size. On Morphic it makes SVG artwork from a prompt and redraws an existing image as a vector, and its companion, Ideogram Vectorize, traces an image into SVG without changing it.
What is the difference between Ideogram Vector and Ideogram Vectorize?
Ideogram Vector creates: it draws new artwork from your prompt, or redraws an image you give it, following the prompt. Ideogram Vectorize converts: it traces one image into an SVG as it is, with no prompt, and lets you choose simpler shapes for logos and icons or full detail that keeps the source's fine lines.
Why use an SVG instead of a PNG?
An SVG describes shapes, not pixels, so it stays sharp at any size, from a favicon to a building wrap, and stays small as a file. You can also change its colors and shapes later in a vector editor, which a PNG does not allow.
Can I edit the SVG files Ideogram Vector makes?
Yes. Open the file in any vector editor or design tool to recolor shapes, move parts or combine it with type. Morphic rebuilds each file from a safe list of SVG elements first, so it carries no scripts or outside links.
What images can I vectorize?
Ideogram Vectorize takes one JPEG, PNG or WebP image of up to 50 MB; other formats are converted first. For a redraw with Ideogram Vector, the first image is the one redrawn and up to 4 more act as references, each up to 10 MB.
How is Ideogram Vector different from Ideogram 4.5?
[Ideogram 4.5](/resources/models/ideogram-4-5) makes and edits regular raster images, built for clean edits turn after turn. Ideogram Vector makes SVG files. Use 4.5 for photos and finished pictures, and Vector for logos, icons and flat artwork that has to scale.

How do I use Ideogram Vector on Morphic?
Ask Copilot for an SVG, a vector logo or a vector icon, and it uses Ideogram Vector. To turn an existing image into SVG, attach it and say whether to keep it as it is or change it: Copilot traces it with Ideogram Vectorize or redraws it with Ideogram Vector. You can also pick either model in the Canvas model list.
