FAQs
What is a heavy snoring sound effect?
Heavy snoring is loud, deep snoring where the soft tissue in the throat rattles hard on every breath. People look for it as a comedy sound, a sleeping giant or a sleepless night, so the rattle, the volume and the snort matter more than the breathing.
Where can I get heavy snoring sounds for a video?
Describe the snore and Morphic generates it. Recording a real heavy snorer cleanly is awkward, a stock library rarely has the right level, and every sound on this page was made from the prompt printed beside it, so you can start from one.
How do I make a custom heavy snoring sound effect?
Say how loud the snore is, how it moves and how many sleepers there are, then generate it. A prompt like "a heavy snorer drawing a deep rattling snore in, then blowing out through the lips in a loud fluttering whistle" gives Morphic enough.
What is the difference between heavy snoring and ordinary snoring?
Ordinary snoring is a light, steady rasp you can sleep beside. Heavy snoring is louder and deeper, the throat rattling hard, often with pauses and choking snorts, which is why it is the version used for comedy and sleeping-giant scenes.
Can I use these heavy snoring sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each sound is generated for you, you also avoid the clip turning up in someone else's video.
Why does my heavy snoring sound not sit right in the edit?
Snoring loses its comedy when it never changes. Let the snore build, stop or snort in time with the cuts and reactions, and keep it a little lower when it plays under dialogue, so each snore lands between the lines.
