Mark the second the wheels touch the runway

FAQs

What is a landing sound effect?
It is the sound of something coming down and meeting a surface: tyres on a runway, feet on a mat or a craft on its legs. The sound depends on weight, surface and speed.
Where can I get landing sounds for a video?
Describe what is landing and where it lands, then generate it. Every clip here came from the prompt beside it, so you can adapt the wording for your own touchdown.
How do I make a custom landing sound?
Name the object, the surface and the number of impacts, for example "two bouncing thuds then a crunching skid on gravel". Weight words guide the result.
How does a plane landing differ from a person landing?
A plane gives a chirp, a rumble and a long roar, spread over seconds. A person lands in a short slap or thud with a quick breath, so the size anchor matters in the prompt.
Can I use these landing sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. The sounds are generated for you, not shared from a common bank.
Why does my landing sound too small?
Heavy objects need a heavy cue. Say large aircraft tyres or a heavy metal leg, and name a deep rumble in the prompt.
