AI Matrix screensaver

Generate a matrix screensaver in your browser with Morphic's matrix screensaver AI video generator. Render green glyph rain falling through black, or the same columns reflected on a wet floor, then loop the plate on Compose.

The field at full width

A wide black frame filled with falling columns at varied speeds and densities. Some columns hesitate, others run to the bottom edge, and the overall brightness never changes.

Edit prompt

Depth in the haze

Sharp fast columns in the near layer with dimmer, slower ones drifting far behind through faint atmosphere. The layers move at different rates so the flat field reads as a room.

Edit prompt

Amber on curved glass

A held shot of a curved panel where the fall is warm amber instead of green, scanlines crossing the surface and a soft halo sitting around the brightest characters.

Edit prompt

Reflection on wet ground

A dark floor with the rain arriving only as reflection, stretched and softened by the wet surface. Small ripples pass through the image and the columns keep falling.

FAQs

Where can I make a matrix screensaver with AI?
You can make one in your browser on Morphic. Open the Text to Video tool, describe the column density, the fall speed and the phosphor colour, and the plate generates in minutes. Loop it on Compose and set it as a background.
How do I stop the glyphs forming readable words?
Ask for generic invented characters with no readable words or letters. Generated text comes back as convincing nonsense, and a half-legible word pulls the eye straight to it. Invented symbols keep the field reading as pure motion.
What makes glyph rain look right?
The trail. A bright leading character with a fading stack behind it is what turns a grid of symbols into falling light. Vary the column speeds too, because a field where everything falls at one rate looks like a spreadsheet scrolling.
Can I change the colour of the rain?
Yes. Amber and cyan both work, and amber on a curved panel reads as an older terminal while cyan reads colder and more modern. Name the phosphor colour and the glow, and keep the ground pure black so the characters stay the only light source.
How do I make it loop cleanly?
Nothing in a rain field has a beginning or an end, so there is no event that has to line up at the seam. Generate a short clip, match the last frame to the first on Compose, and repeat it. Ten seconds plays indefinitely without anyone spotting the cycle.
