Saucer over a country road
A craft hanging above an empty road in ink line, the verge posts ruled lightly, the beam marked as two straight edges and the sky left bare.

Draw a UFO and finish it in your browser
Describe the UFO you want in Morphic's Image tool, from a flat clipart saucer to a panelled disc hanging over a dark field with its beam down. Set the hull shape, the dome, the light rig, the beam and the drawing medium, adjust the glow and the background on the Canvas, then download it in HD.

常见问题
How do I draw a flying saucer that sits correctly in perspective?
Draw the disc as an ellipse, not a circle, and decide early how far above or below your eye line the craft sits. The higher it is, the flatter that ellipse gets. Put the dome on the same ellipse centre and repeat the curve for the rim underneath, and the whole hull locks together.
How do I make a UFO look like it is hovering rather than parked?
Give it nothing to rest on and put some ground underneath at a clearly lower level. A soft pool of light or a faint shadow directly below sells the gap. Tilting the disc a few degrees off level also helps, because a perfectly horizontal craft reads as a prop on a table.
How do I draw the light beam?
Draw it as two straight edges widening from the underside to the ground, not as a soft glow. Keep the inside of the beam lighter than the sky and let it fade slightly as it descends. Adding a few dust specks inside the cone is what makes it read as light rather than a painted shape.
What shapes other than a saucer work for a UFO drawing?
A black triangle with a lamp at each corner, a long cigar hull with a window band, a featureless orb, and a stacked double disc all read as craft immediately. Naming one of these instead of the default disc is the fastest way to get something that does not look like clipart.
How do I get a clean background for a UFO drawing?
Ask for a flat white background with no sky, no landscape and no beam, then crop the frame on the Canvas. That gives you the hull on its own, which is what you want if the drawing is going onto a sticker sheet, a poster or a set of matching icons.
Can I keep a set of UFO drawings in one style?
Use Style Transfer. Lock the look of the first craft, then apply it while you generate each hull type so the line weight, the panelling and the light treatment stay the same. That is what turns six separate drawings into a fleet that looks designed by one hand.
