Punctuate the first cut
A dense grinding cut on the frame the blade goes in does more for the scene than any wide shot of the table.

Pumpkin sound effects
Carving Foley: the first cut through thick rind, the wet scoop, the lid lifting free, a hollow knock, and one dropped from a height.
- Ask for thick and wet, because the rind is what makes this sound like nothing else in a kitchen
- Foley cut for your shot rather than a stock carving clip used elsewhere
- Download clean audio and drop it straight into your edit
Carving Foley for film, games, and video
First cut
A serrated blade grinding through thick wet rind. Slow and dense, which is what makes it read as resistance.
Wet scoop
Stringy pulp dragged out of a hollow cavity. The sound everyone remembers, and the reason children love this.
Lid lifting
A cut circle pulled free with a soft tearing release. The moment the object becomes hollow.
Hollow knock
Two raps with a short hollow ring. Two seconds that tell the audience the inside is already empty.
Seeds in a bowl
Wet seeds dropped in handfuls. Small and specific, and it places a kitchen table around the scene.
Dropped and burst
A heavy wet mass hitting a hard surface and splitting open. The comic ending to any carving scene.

Ways to use a pumpkin sound effect
Fill a carving scene without music
Scooping and seeds dropping keep a quiet kitchen sequence moving, so a domestic scene holds without a track.
编辑提示词
Set the season in one sound
A wet scoop places a scene in late October more precisely than a decoration in the background does.
编辑提示词
Show an accident off camera
A heavy wet split on a hard surface tells the audience what happened without the shot ever leaving the faces.

常见问题
How is this different from the Halloween page?
That page is atmosphere, and so is spooky-sound-effects. This is an object being worked on, so every card is Foley: a cut, a scoop, a lid, a knock. None of them would fit on either neighbour.
Why does my cut sound like chopping a carrot?
The rind is missing. Ask for a serrated blade sawing slowly through thick wet rind with a dense grinding quality, since it is the resistance and the thickness that identify the object.
What is the most recognisable sound here?
The scoop. Wet stringy pulp dragged out of a hollow cavity is unlike anything else in a kitchen, and two seconds of it places a whole scene.
How do I show that it is already hollow?
Knock on it. Two dull raps with a short hollow ring tell the audience the inside is empty, which saves a shot looking into it.
Why does my Foley come back almost silent?
Wet dense material is a low-energy class that one model collapses toward silence whatever the prompt says. Every card here is generated on Seed Audio for that reason.
Can I use these in a commercial project?
Yes. Audio generated on a paid Morphic plan is cleared for commercial use, including advertising, film, and games.
