Land a bounce on the exact frame
A taut twang has almost no attack time, so it hits where you put it and the wobble carries the movement after.

Boing sound effect
The springy twang that lands a bounce, a stretch, or a pratfall. Describe how taut the spring is and how long it wobbles before it settles.
- Set how taut the spring is and how long it wobbles
- A twang cut to your bounce, not a soundboard rip
- Clean audio that lands on the frame
Boing variations for animation, games, and edits
Classic boing
0:02One taut twang wobbling fast and settling. Short enough to land on a frame, which makes it punctuation rather than an event.
Long wobble
0:04A slack spring oscillating slowly. The longer settle reads as comic exhaustion where the taut version reads as impact.
Rising stretch
0:03A tone climbing as the spring is pulled. It reads as tension building, so it sets up a release rather than delivering one.
Triple bounce
0:02Three boings getting smaller and quicker. The diminishing pattern is exactly how a real bounce decays, and it reads as physics.
Deep boing
0:03A heavy low twang from a thick spring. It implies weight, so it suits something large landing rather than something light.
Boing and thud
0:03The twang followed by a dull landing. The thud is what resolves it, so the gag ends rather than trailing off.

Ways to use a boing sound effect
Let a slow wobble fill a pause
A long settle carries a beat on its own and reads as something giving up, which no single hit conveys.
编辑提示词
Build tension before a release
A rising stretch climbs without resolving, so an audience waits for the snap that has not come yet.
编辑提示词
Show a fall the camera cuts away from
A boing and a thud tells the audience the whole action, in a shot that never shows the landing.

常见问题
How do I make a boing sound right for my animation?
Describe the spring physics. How taut it is decides the pitch, how fast it wobbles decides the energy, and how long it takes to settle decides whether it reads as an impact or as something giving up.
Why does my boing sound flat?
Usually because it has no wobble. The oscillation after the twang is the whole character, so ask explicitly for it to wobble and settle rather than just for a spring sound, which tends to return a single tone.
How do I sell a series of bounces?
Ask for three boings getting smaller and quicker each time. That diminishing pattern is how a real bounce decays, and it reads as physics rather than as a repeated effect.
What is the difference between a taut and a slack boing?
Pitch and settling time. A taut spring twangs high and settles fast, reading as a sharp impact, while a slack one oscillates low and slowly, reading as comic exhaustion. Same gesture, opposite meanings.
How do I end a gag rather than let it trail off?
Add a thud after the boing. The dull landing resolves the movement, so the joke closes cleanly instead of fading out on a wobble that has nowhere to go.
Can I use these boing sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Because each one is generated rather than pulled off a shared soundboard, you also avoid the exact clip your audience has already heard.
