How do I make an AI drawing?
Open the Image tool, write the subject and then the drawing style in the same sentence, and generate a few versions. The style words matter as much as the subject: "pencil, light hatching, white paper" gives a very different result from the same subject with no style named.
Do I need to know how to draw to use it?
No, but knowing the vocabulary helps. Words like hatching, stipple, line weight, tonal and vector line tell the model what kind of mark to make, and they are the fastest thing to learn if your results look generic.
How do I get a drawing rather than a photo-like image?
Say the medium and the surface explicitly, and add "no colour" or "line work only" if you want it clean. Without those, an unqualified prompt drifts toward a rendered illustration instead of something that reads as drawn by hand.
Can I turn my own photo into a drawing?
Yes. Bring the photo onto the Canvas and use Style Transfer to hold a drawing style across it, naming the medium you want. That keeps the composition of your photo while changing how it is rendered.
Can I use AI drawings for a school project?
They work well for diagrams and cover art, where bold outlines and plenty of white space matter more than fine detail. Check with your school first, since many ask you to say which parts of a submission were generated.
