常见问题
What is a stinky sound effect?
It is a comic cue for a bad smell: a wafting whoosh, a fly buzz, a brass droop. A smell has no sound, so these are invented sounds that tell the joke.
Where can I get stinky sounds for a video?
Describe the gag and generate it, which beats searching for a match with your timing. Each sound here came from the prompt printed beside it.
How do I make a custom stinky sound effect?
Pick the comic texture, then the shape: rising, wobbling or falling. A prompt like "a puff of foul gas, a soft airy pfft followed by a bubbly burble" works well.
What is the difference between a waft and a gas puff?
A waft is a slow airy whoosh that drifts toward a nose. A gas puff is a short pfft and a burble that marks the release itself. Using both gives the gag a beginning and an end.
Can I use these stinky sounds commercially?
Yes, audio generated on paid plans can be used commercially. See our terms for full licensing details. Your comic cue is generated for you, so it will not repeat across other channels.
Why does my stink cue feel too crude?
Keep it cartoonish: ask for a slide whistle, brass or airy hiss rather than anything realistic. A shorter, lighter cue lands better under a kid-friendly joke.
