How do I turn a script into a video?
Attach the script you already wrote, then work through it scene by scene. Morphic reads PDF, TXT, Markdown, and JSON natively, so a screenplay or a voiceover script becomes the brief instead of something you retype. Ask for the shots in a scene, generate them, add the narration for that beat, and assemble the cut when the scenes are covered.
Can it break my script into scenes and shots?
Yes. Copilot reads the attached script and works out the shots a scene needs, then generates them. Long scripts are searchable rather than pasted, so you can ask for scene 12 without the other forty pages crowding the request. You stay the director: rewrite a shot, add coverage, or cut a beat before anything is assembled.
How do I keep a character looking the same across scenes?
Build a reference sheet for each recurring character and each recurring location, then pass those references into every shot that needs them. Several references can ride on one generation, so the cast, the set, and the wardrobe can all inform the same frame. That is how the character in scene 2 stays the same character in the last scene.
Can I add voiceover to each scene?
Yes. Generate the narration for a scene with the speech tool, then line it up against the matching shots on Compose with per-clip volume. When a character speaks on camera, run Lip Sync so the delivery matches the mouth. Music and ambient sound sit on the same timeline.
What kinds of scripts work best?
Anything with a scene structure or a clear beat order. Screenplays, voiceover scripts, explainer outlines, lesson plans, and long-form blog copy all convert well, because each one already tells the model what happens next. A script with the setting, the action, and the tone written down needs far less prompting per shot.
How do I assemble the scenes into one video?
Bring the approved shots onto Compose, the timeline editor, and order them against the script. Add fade, wipe, slide, or circle open between scenes, layer narration, music, and effects with per-clip volume, and export the finished cut. Copilot can also hand back an assembled cut of hard cuts with an audio bed when you want a fast first pass.
Can I revise a scene without regenerating the whole video?
Yes. Every scene is its own set of shots, so a rewrite only costs you that scene. Change the line, the framing, or the camera move, regenerate the affected shots, and drop them back into the same slot on the timeline. The rest of the cut stays exactly as approved.
