Use cases

Amazon and store listing shots

Turn a flat cover file into a listing image that shows a real book with weight and shadow. Generate a clean standing hardback and a paperback front on a plain background, sized for the retailer, so your title sits next to published books without looking like a template. Swap the artwork and rerun the moment you revise the cover.

Author website and launch banners

Give a book page a hero image that feels like a photograph rather than a scan. Ask for the book held at a window, open on a desk, or standing beside a coffee, and the cover stays crisp while the scene sets a mood. One upload gives you a header, a footer strip, and a pre-order banner in the same style.

Social posts and pre-order teasers

Spin variants for a launch feed without a photo shoot. Put the same cover into a stack of copies, a flat-lay with reading props, and a held-in-hand angle, then test which frame earns the most saves. Every render carries your exact artwork, so nothing about the cover is faked.

Press kits and pitch decks

Show an agent, a reviewer, or a retailer the book as a finished object. Frame a hardback and paperback edition together, or drop a single copy into a clean studio angle for a media one-sheet. It reads as a real print run rather than a cover concept on a white page.

FAQs

How does the book cover mockup generator work?
You upload your finished cover artwork, then describe the shot you want, and the model wraps the flat file onto a photoreal book. It builds the spine, the page block, the paper thickness, and a setting to match, whether that is a standing hardback, a paperback held in a hand, or an open copy on a table. Your artwork sits on the cover at the right perspective, so it reads like a real photograph of the printed book rather than a flat paste-in.
Can I show both a hardcover and a paperback?
Yes. Describe the format you want and the generator renders it, from a case-bound hardback with a dust jacket to a perfect-bound paperback with a soft, slightly flexed cover. Because you supply the same artwork each time, you can present the two editions side by side with matching light and staging.
Will the title text on my cover stay legible?
Your uploaded artwork is placed onto the cover at full clarity and warped to the surface angle, so the title, author name, and typography stay readable even when the book is tilted or standing at three-quarters. If a highlight falls across the jacket and hides part of the design, rerun with a flatter angle or softer light until the cover reads cleanly.
Can I get a spine and back cover too?
Yes, when your upload includes the full wrap. Provide the spine and back panels and the model maps each to the right face of the book, so a shot that shows the book turned or stacked keeps the spine text and back-cover blurb in place. With a front-only file it renders a convincing front while leaving the spine plain.
Do I need design software to make one?
No. The whole thing runs in the browser on Morphic, so there is no Photoshop file and no smart-object template to line up. Upload your cover, write the scene, and export the finished mockup from the same canvas. A rerun to try another angle costs nothing.
What can I use the mockups for?
Amazon and store listings, author websites, launch posts, pre-order banners, and press kits. A cover reads very differently as a real object with weight and shadow than as a flat JPEG, so a lifelike mockup helps a title look published and worth buying before anyone opens it.
