Use cases

Fix a typo without rebuilding the file

A finished graphic with one wrong word usually means digging out the source file, or reworking it from scratch. Editing the text in place fixes the wording while keeping the exact font and layout. You correct the slip and export, without touching the rest of the design.

Localise a sign or label

Swap the wording on a sign, pack, or poster into another language while the type, colour, and placement stay put. It is a fast way to see how a design reads in a new market before committing to a full redraw, and to produce mockups that look real rather than pasted over.

Try alternative headlines on a design

Test a few versions of a headline, a tagline, or a call to action directly on the artwork. Because the type style carries over, each variant looks like a finished layout, not a rough. Compare wording options side by side and pick the one that lands before handing anything off.

Update a price, date, or detail

A menu price, an event date, a model number on packaging: the small text that changes often. Rewrite just that detail and keep the surrounding design intact. It saves re-exporting a whole template every time one figure moves, and the edit sits naturally in the original type.

FAQs

How do I change the text in an image?
Point at the words you want to change and type the new wording. Morphic rewrites the text in place, matching the existing font, weight, colour, and the angle it sits at. It edits the lettering rather than removing it, so the sign, label, or poster reads as if it always said the new words.
Will it match the original font and style?
That is the point of it. It reads the look of the existing type, its shape, spacing, colour, and any perspective or curve, and renders the new words to match. On a flat, clear label the match is closest. Very stylised or heavily distressed lettering is harder and may need a second pass.
Is this the same as removing the text?
No. Removing text erases it and fills the gap with background. This replaces one set of words with another while keeping the type and layout, so the result still has readable text, just different words. If you want the words gone entirely rather than changed, that is a removal job instead.
What can I edit the text on?
Signs, product labels, posters, packaging, menus, book covers, mockups, and screenshots all work. It is well suited to correcting a typo, localising a word, swapping a price or date, or trying alternative wording on a design without rebuilding the artwork from scratch.
Can it handle text at an angle or on a curve?
Yes, within reason. It follows the perspective of a sign photographed at an angle and the curve of text wrapped on a bottle or a badge. Extreme angles and tight curves are the tricky cases, and reviewing the result at full size before you export is worth it.
Do I need an account?
You can look through examples first. Editing text on your own images needs a free account, which takes under a minute and comes with starter credits.
