Use cases

Reclaim a clean version of stock footage

You licensed a clip but only have the watermarked preview on hand, or the download came back with the vendor bug still burned in. Point Morphic at the overlay and it rebuilds the picture underneath from the frames around it. You get back a clean cut of footage you already have the rights to use.

Take a station or channel bug out of a recording

A corner logo sits in the same place for the whole shot, which makes it a clean target. Morphic tracks that region across every frame and fills it with matching motion and light. The result reads as if the bug was never composited on top, without a frozen or blurred patch in the corner.

Clear a timestamp or camera stamp

Old phone clips and security exports often carry a burned-in date, time, or camera label. Mark it and Morphic rebuilds the pixels behind it so the footage looks like a clean capture. Handy when you want to reuse an old recording without the stamp pulling focus.

Remove your own old logo before a refresh

Rebranding means a back catalog of clips still carries the previous logo bug. Rather than reshoot, clear the old mark from each clip and drop the new one on the timeline in Compose. It keeps the archive usable through a brand change.

FAQs

How do I remove a watermark from a video?
Upload the clip, tell Morphic which mark to clear, and it edits the footage frame by frame. Instead of blurring the spot, the model rebuilds whatever sat behind the watermark from the surrounding picture, so the area reads as untouched. The edited clip lands on your timeline ready to keep working with.
Can it remove a station logo or channel bug in the corner?
Yes. A persistent corner bug is one of the easier cases because it holds the same position across the shot. Morphic tracks that region through every frame and fills it with matching motion, whether the background behind it is moving water, a crowd, or a static wall.
Will the spot where the watermark was look smeared?
The aim is that it does not. Because the covered area is generated to match the light, texture, and movement already in the shot, you avoid the frozen patch or smear that a manual blur leaves. On a busy background you can rerun the pass or switch models until the fill holds up at full speed.
Is it legal to remove a watermark?
Only on footage you own or are licensed to edit, such as your own exports, stock you have paid for, or a clip a client has cleared. Removing a watermark to strip attribution or reuse work you have no rights to is not something the tool is meant for. Stay on footage you are allowed to change.
Does the rest of the video change when I remove the mark?
No. Morphic edits the region you point at and continues the existing clip everywhere else, so framing, grade, and pacing stay exactly as they were. It is repairing one part of your shot, not regenerating the whole thing from a prompt.
Do I need to sign up?
You can look through the examples without an account. To clean up your own footage you will need to sign up, which takes under a minute.
