One frame, set once
The project holds its own resolution and frame rate, and every clip renders into it. Change that number and the whole timeline changes with it. No clip needs its own treatment.
Position, scale, rotate, flip
Each clip carries its own transform inside the frame. Push a talking head off centre to leave room for a caption, scale a wide shot until the subject fills a vertical window, mirror a clip that was filmed the wrong way round.
Reframing that follows the action
A subject who walks across a wide shot leaves a narrow frame if the crop stays put. Animate the position over the length of the clip and the window travels with them. A crop chooses once; a reframe keeps choosing.
Reframe by asking
Copilot reads the timeline and takes your selection and the playhead as context, so bring every clip into the vertical frame is a complete instruction. However many clips it touches, it lands as one action and comes back in one undo.
Titles that move with the frame
Captions and titles live on the timeline as their own items. Narrow the frame and they are still editable, so a lower third that ran off the edge is dragged back in a second.
Export up to 4K, any shape
Vertical, square and widescreen render the same way at 4K or below, at the project quality or one you choose, on your own machine with no queue. A marked section exports on its own.
Widening a frame asks for picture that was never filmed, and both answers to that are in the same tab. Extend the edge of the shot you already have, or generate a new one framed for the ratio you are moving to, picking from the whole model roster without leaving the project. Either arrives on the timeline as an ordinary clip. Seedance 2.5 is one of the video models on that roster.

Instagram is three deliveries in one platform, and the ratio separates them:
- 4:5 — a feed post. More screen than a square without becoming a Reel.
- 9:16 — a Reel or a Story.
- 1:1 — a grid tile.
All three come out of one project. Set the frame, place the clips, export; change the number, fix the two clips where the subject sat near an edge, export again. Titles stay editable across both and the safe area moves with the frame, so a second cut is an afternoon rather than a rebuild. A set of placements you ship weekly is worth saving as a workflow.
Resize video for TikTok
Widescreen footage posted vertical loses two thirds of its width, usually the two thirds the subject is standing in. Set the project to nine by sixteen, then walk the timeline clip by clip:
- An interview holds, once you push the frame to whoever is speaking.
- A wide establishing shot rarely survives the crop. Scale it until one part carries it.
- A screen recording wants the opposite: scale down, let colour fill the edges, keep it readable.
- A shot that refuses to crop can become a split screen video instead, two halves stacked in the tall frame.
Footage that arrived on its side wants turning first, so flip video before you reframe. After that, the rest of the job is how you edit TikTok video for the feed.
Auto reframe without an auto button
Auto reframe, as most tools sell it, is a subject tracker guessing where the window goes. The same outcome is reachable two ways here, and you can check both:
- By hand — a clip's position animates like any property. Set the frame at the start of a move and again at the end; the window travels between them.
- By instruction — Copilot reads the timeline and runs that pass across every clip, atomically, in one undo.
A reframe you dislike is one keystroke from gone, which is what makes it worth trying. What it will not do is decide on its own that a shot needed reframing.
